Our wine menu is a milk bottle rack loaded with flavorful imported wines, our ingredients are imported from Italy and our recipes come from a long-time family tradition headed by “nonna”.

FIASCHETTERIA "PISTOIA"


 

FIASCHETTERIA “Pistoia” was born in Tuscany in 1890 from the love of a passionate Italian family for food and, most importantly, wine. 

A “fiasco” is a round glass container with a long neck and dressed with straw. “Fiaschi” are made using an ancient glassblowing method that creates thin spherical light green hues or transparent glass. “Fiaschi” were and are still used to contain wine in Italy.

Since 1890, my family has worked in restaurants in the city of Pistoia (which lies near Florence and Lucca), where in the kitchen, traditional dishes are made with passion and respect.  

Pistoia, or "Pistrinium" in Latin, is "city of ovens", because it was known to produce bread since II D.C.  In 2017, Pistoia is known as a capital of culture in Italy, and a leader of ancient gourmet culture in its territory.
